Two by Two
After today I am thinking I may need to assemble a rather large boat and begin collected animals two by two. These are some pictures of Knoxville and Clinton. Teri's husband is a cop in Clinton and he called around 10 this morning to tell us to stay inside and not go out for lunch. Thankfully, we had an amazing patient who wanted to buy our lunch today and just so happen that the place delievered. I was so glad, since I forgot to pack my lunch this morning and going out in a monsoon wasn't top of to do list.
I talked to Dad before I left work and he said the interstate wasn't looking great and he would probably be up there most of the night.

Melanie, Mitch and Bodega Bay
*****NO IDEA WHY THESE DIDN'T POST OVER THE WEEKEND*****
It's Friday!
We worked today (which is odd in most dental offices, and for us) and I am thrilled to be home. It wasn't a crazy crazy day, but we had one patient.....the cutest 2 year old on the planet....come in for his first ever visit. Why are the cutest little boys the meanest? He wasn't mean like Tasmanian devil. He was mean like.... be sitting in your lap and pinch you, but smile with that I am totally innocent smile. His little face just melts my heart. He has an older brother that is something else! These boys are going to be heartbreakers one day!
Home in my pj's ready for movie night and a trip to Bodega Bay.
Tonight's feature is one of my all time favorites.....The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock.
A classic! If you haven't seen it you should!
Basically....
Spoilt socialite and notorious practical joker Melanie Daniels is shopping in a San Francisco pet store when she meets Mitch Brenner. Mitch is looking to buy a pair of love birds for his young sister's birthday; he recognises Melanie but pretends to mistake her for an assistant. She decides to get her own back by buying the birds and driving up to the quiet coastal town of Bodega Bay, where Mitch spends his weekends with his sister and mother. Shortly after she arrives, Melanie is attacked by a gull, but this is just the start of a series of attacks by an increasing number of birds.
(She is also Melanie Griffith's Mom)
Melanie and Annie Hayworth
Melanie and Annie Hayworth
He was quite a handsome man in his day!
No one could have played Mitch Brenner like he did, and no one can make Bodega Bay sound as inviting as he did!
Favorite part of the whole movie:
Mitch: Well, small world...How do you know Annie?
Melanie: We went to school together - college...
Mitch: So you came up to see Annie, huh?
Melanie: Yes.
Mitch: I think you came up to see me.
Melanie: Now why would I want to see you of all people?
Mitch: I don't know. You must have gone to a lot of trouble to find out who I was and where I lived.
Melanie: No, it was no trouble at all. I simply called my father's newspaper. Besides, I was coming up anyway. I've already told you that.
Mitch: You really like me, huh?
Melanie: I loathe you. You have no manners, you're arrogant, and conceited, and I wrote you a letter about it, in fact. I tore it up.
I have this barbie....in the original box.
What can I say? I really love this movie! So much so that I am considering being her for Halloween this year. Yes, a dork....I already know.
Happy Friday!

Riding around in my Automobile
Sweet boy Tate is going to have a blast in his Cozy Coupe!
Yes, I realize it will be a little while before he can actually use it, but I got it for
$12.99+free shipping on Amazon.
I've said it before, but it's worth saying again I LOVE Amazon!
I buy from Amazon so much that I get free shipping on basically everything I order.
(Well I did until fuel shot up to $3.19)
Plus they send me daily e-mails with what's on special that day.
Last week this was a daily deal, and I just couldn't pass it up. Regular price is $69. Sale price was $39 but I have an Amazon Prime account. Add in some bonus points from my last few purchases and it ended up being $12.99!
Can't pass up a deal like this!

The list that never ends
I can't believe January is gone and February is almost over! The worst part is that to-do list I made back in December is still in my planner and doesn't have too many things marked off.
March is already jam packed so adding in what should have been completed in the first two months of the year isn't going to be easy. So far every weekend has something planned and one of which is a work trip to Atlanta. I love Atlanta. It's one of my favorite cities, but this isn't a fun trip. It's a two day dental convention......in a cold and dark convention center......with 8 a.m. classes! Sound fun? At some point I need to start planning a baby shower for my sister. That is if she can get out of bed long enough to enjoy a shower.
Add in the Women's Day Expo, CPR re-certification, Invisalign night, Staff meetings, Birthday parties, Consignment sales, Out of town friend visit, Dr. Appointments, and family and friend time......it's not looking like Jan and Feb's stuff is getting done.
My headboard is still not hung, neither are the new frames I ordered for my bedroom. My couch is still on backorder and so are the rugs. (Note to self: only re-do one room at a time in the future)
I'm not complaining! Being busy is better than being bored. I am just a super organized person and my planner is normally full, but never like this.

Dr. Mc....
Please tell me I wasn't the only one excited about "Little Grey" and Jackson Avery last night!
(Okay this would be where a friend of mine would say that I act like I played golf with these people yesterday. Apparently its odd to some people that I really get into TV shows.) Anyway! Because Dr. McDreamy and Dr. McSteamy are already taken by Derrick and Mark, I think i'll start referring to Jackson as Dr. McSizzle.
Don't screw this one up!
Something tells me she is going to go running back to Mark.
Typical Lex!

Luke & Lorelai...Rory & Logan
For the last few weeks I have gone to bed every night with those crazy Gilmore Girls. Who better than Rory and Lorelai? A couple of years ago Mama got me the first 5 seasons on DVD. That's been one of my all time favorite Christmas gifts. I love these girls!

Crazy cut
It's haircut/color day!
Currently it's 4:09 a.m. and I cannot sleep............big surprise!
I've been up since 2 a.m. Tried for almost an hour to fall asleep....no luck. Nothing is on TV this early. Since I am getting my hair done tonight (If I can stay awake through the appt) I am searching for a new look.
I was never a fan of Kristen Cavallari as a person, but I liked her hair.

Blog worthy
Looks like I wasn't the only one who spent some quality time with the great outdoors this weekend. Matt sent these pictures to me from his weekend hunting expedition. Pretty sure I am bad luck, because he didn't kill a single animal.
Sorry Matt!
(Not really)

Hiatus
I've been on a little blog hiatus. It wasn't intentional, but the end of last week wasn't great and I just needed a few days away from the computer. I had one of those moments that I wish I could just go back and redo almost instantly as it is happening. Not the best feeling. I'm hoping and praying that everything gets back to normal soon.
In the midst of my depression Carrie called and wanted to take Hudson fishing. I'm not a fisher-person, but I needed to get my mind on better things.
What better way to spend a Saturday than at the lake?
The water was down, but it was still nice to be there.
The water was down, but it was still nice to be there.
Hudson was EXTREMELY excited to get to use his new Lighting McQueen tackle box and fishing pole. How cute is this?
Bless him!
Snack Time! "Look Miss Tippy!" -Hud
He hooked himself! Definitely the scariest moment of the day!
Hello Spring!
Lexy girl was all about the water! 5 minutes into the day she was already in splashing....the fish loved that!
This face is priceless. TiTi wasn't getting his hook fixed fast enough.
