It was a crazy day at work. Lots of paperwork and extra steps for me today. Not sure what was going on but I just couldn't stay focused today. It's probably the whole house drama. I knew better than to start decorating in my mind! Ha! No I know it wasn't the house for me if it didn't work out, so i'll keep looking. God has a much better plan than I do.

In the meantime i'm going to sit right here in my comfy bed..........work on this wreath..........eat popcorn and watch Remember the Titans.

Favorite scene yet!

Y'all know I LOVE The Walking Dead! This is my favorite scene of the season up to this point. Shane isn't my favorite character actually he's my least favorite. BUT if you watch the show you know this really did have to happen.

Yes I realize this is just a show but I really do love it!

Per normal Tennessee weather its been a crazy week. Sunday I was fighting to get down the bread aisle preparing for a blizzard and then yesterday it was 75 degrees. Cassie took Tate to the park and this is the picture I got. She will probably kill me for putting this online, but it was just too cute! Somebody loves the park!

Random...boring post

I'm still working on storage for all the ribbon I have acquired. BUT for now I am using a couple of these. I bought these for belts, but I thought they may work and they do......kinda. Not all ribbon spools have large enough openings on the side to fit. So the large spools are on these and the others are still in multiple bags.......multiple!

Still no word on the house.......................................... :(

No news Monday.....or Tuesday.

If I told you I wasn't a patient person would you believe it? I'm not! I'm trying and feel like I have made great strides, but still i'm not. That being said the home buying process is testing me. The hunting and then viewing then offering and now waiting..........not my idea of fun. Still i'm thrilled to have a great realtor and I know she is doing everything she can. So while waiting i'm shopping. Well just Pinterest shopping. Kinda like window shopping from the comfort of my cozy couch.

So no news Monday..........and now no news Tuesday. Let's hope Wednesday brings GOOD news!

Ribbon Wreath

Remember all that ribbon I have been talking about? Well this is one of the projects its been going to. I love this ribbon wreath! I used purple and white for Relay for Life. Finally I have a completed Pinterest project that I can show off!

New offer!

Wednesday was my day off and I had about 19756385625438 things to accomplish. Top of the priority list was house hunting with my realtor. She called Monday to say that a few new listings were going up that night. I refused to get my hopes up, but one of them looked like it might be a fit. I called Wednesday and set up an appointment. Still holding out very little hope. Keep in mind that every house I have looked at has been a "fixer upper" to say the least.

This one is not. There are a few things that need to be changed but none immediately. This one like most of the others is a foreclosure. The carpet was removed in all three bedrooms by the previous owner, but new carpet is already cut and ready to be put down.

So today i got a text saying that my offer has been sent in and we are just waiting to hear back from the bank. Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prayers are appreciated!!!!!!!!!

My laptop recently bit the dust. It had so many "infections" that I was sure it was beyond repair. I was also sure that all my pictures were gone forever. But my Mother being the super Mom that she is had it fixed for me. It was the best Valentines Day gift! So since I am more than positive that the Internet will NEVER crash (right?????) I am adding pictures to the blog. If you have been a blog stalker for a while you have probably seen these. I just want to make sure that they are saved forever. So if these old picture posts surface over the next few months and you have already seen them.......sorry!

The first pictures are from an all girls four wheeling trip from a few years ago.

People are always surprised when I tell them I like four wheeling. I guess I just look girly?

Actually I like the mud part too.

(Please keep in mind no guys were involved in the trip other than unloading and loading the four wheelers. Us girls were the only ones on the ride and yes we made it back without help.....even when we got stuck.)

This was the VERY first mud "puddle" of the ride and of course we got stuck.

Wild and crazy weekend.........

It wasn't exactly wild and crazy, but it was busy. All my weekends are busy it just so happen that this weekend I was off Saturday. I started my wild weekend by cleaning Friday night. My apartment is literally the size of a matchbox........no lie! Its small and simple and I love it........but I am outgrowing it rapidly. Thus the house hunt! Anyway I'm still not sure how I have acquired as much stuff as I have but its EVERYWHERE!

Saturday was errand day which meant craft supply day which meant Hobby Lobby! Y'all know how much I love Hobby Lobby! I'm pretty sure the employees know my name or at least my face. They no longer ask to see my ID when I use my debit card. That counts for something right? Unfortunately it was the quickest Hobby Lobby trip I've ever had. My cousin Benjamin is in the hospital so I wanted to get there before visiting hours were over.

Before I knew it Sunday was here and my weekend was almost over. What better way to end the weekend than with these two activities..........................

Top 5 things you NEVER want to hear your Realtor say when asking about a house(s):

1. Someone put superglue in the locks, but I will get you in to look as soon as possible.

2. There was a meth bust two houses down.......... yesterday.

3. It has mold actively growing in the vent system..........for at least 6 months.

4. Oh that sign on the neighbors lawn..........he's a registered sex offender.

5. I care too much about you to let you live there.

(YES SHE SAID THAT)

I'm thankful for my Realtor, and i'm not sure which one of us has laughed more about these houses.

So the hunt continues......................

Ribbon everywhere!

Thanks to Pinterest, Hobby Lobby and Ebay I have become a tad bit obsessed with ribbon. Not just ribbon, but all craft projects that involve ribbon. Obviously buying a house is top of the money priority list these days, BUT ebay has had such great deals on ribbon I just couldn't pass them up. My biggest downfall with Ebay is the shipping time. When something says it has free shipping it usually takes weeks. So far I have been waiting two weeks.

So with all this ribbon (hopefully) on its way I need a way to organize it. Not only organize it, but be able to see what I have. So...............................
