Helper

In addition to becoming a home owner I have also gained a household member! This video shows just what a huge helper she has been with the whole moving process. Basically I turned my back for a whole minute and this is what happened. She didn't know I could see her.

Please keep this family in your prayers! They are in Africa adopting 4 kiddos. The parents have been detained by foreign officials and their 6 children (2 US- 4 and 7yo) have been moved to an orphanage. Please, please intercede for this family. Pray God moves to resolve this and pray peace over those children!!

Ugh!

In the past I have been referred to as the "Grammar Nazi" by more than one person. It's probably because I have such a huge issue with speaking in proper context. I cringe seeing some Facebook convos. It's amazing to me that people either don't know the difference between to, too and two or they just don't take the time to care. That brings to mind the saying "I'm too tired to care, but I care too much to be tired." So when I saw this pin on Pinterest I knew it was made just for me! Call me what you will......its a pet peeve!

Thankful Thursday!

One of the main things that sold me on this house was the storage! It has a large storage building in the back, and all the closets have awesome storage shelving. It's a good thing too! Over the last four days I have packed more junk than I knew I had. My teeny tiny apartment looks like a storage building and is literally bursting at the seams! Today is Thursday and so today's thankful Thursday is about the house. 

I'm incredibly thankful to have been able to buy my first home at 25! In this economy and this market its not an easy task. I expected many many many delays and issues, but thankfully God had a plan. I'm thankful that the biggest issues were locating two student loan forms! I'm thankful for my parents having taught me how to manage money and how important a great credit score is. 

HOPEFULLY, move in day is this weekend! 

I spoke to the sellers earlier in the week and they said that for sure it would be this weekend, but didn't give me a specific day. Of course I am hoping for Friday rather than Sunday. BUT until then I have to continue to pack. Yes somehow someway I still have things that need to be packed. Seriously where did it all come from???????

Early rather than Late

Wordless Wednesday is coming a few days early this week. Partly because this week has potential to be crazy busy, and partly because I saw this on Pinterest and it reminds me of someone. Happy Monday all! Hopefully this week is move in week at the new house. Not sure yet, but its a possibility. So be watching for before pictures!!!!!

This was published in the records section of the paper this week. I'm not going to lie......I did squeal with excitement! Not the most mature action possible, but hey I've worked hard for this!
