Hawaii isn't in Kenya

Once again they get it wrong!
I'm not sure how many times he has to say it, BUT President Obama was born in Hawaii.
Hawaii people not Kenya! Last time I glanced at a globe Hawaii wasn't located in Kenya. Now I could be wrong, things are changing. Just a few months ago I was a Gemini for goodness sake. I hear Asia really isn't the largest continent these days, and apparently Charlie Sheen is more newsworthy than the Government possibly shutting down. Still I think I am right about this whole Hawaii/Kenya issue.
Seriously I don't care which (if any) party that you belong to, check your facts before you get on a national news radio show and start talking!
Part of being a professional politician, former state Governor to be exact, is knowing what in the world you are talking about before you open your mouth. Small details such as birthplaces and hometowns shouldn't be hard to grasp or remember.
"One thing that I do know is his having grown up in Kenya, his view of the Brits, for example, (is) very different than the average American," Huckabee said, pointing to Obama's decision in 2009 to remove a bust of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill from the Oval Office.

He failed to note that Obama replaced the Oval Office fixture with a bust of one of his American heroes, President Abraham Lincoln, and moved the Churchill bust to the White House residence.

The executive director of Huckabee's political action committee said the former governor misspoke.............yes i'm positive that's what happened.
"When the governor mentioned he wanted to know more about the president, he wasn't talking about the president's place of birth — the governor believes the president was born in Hawaii," Hogan Gidley said. "The governor would, however, like to know more about where President Obama's liberal policies come from and what else the president plans to do to this country — as do most Americans."

As an American let me say that Gov. Huckabee if you plan to throw your name in the hat for a chance as the next leader of the free world..........hire an extraordinary fact checker, an amazing speech writer and learn to follow a prompter letter for letter, word for word.
Just a thought..........

P.S. I don't care who you are or what office you have held in the past have some respect for our President. It's President Obama. Not Obama said this and Obama did that. I personally don't care for President Bush, but he was elected and titled President. That demands a level of respect. Whether you agree or agree to disagree he's still the President and should be addressed as such.
