Busy

Busy busy busy!!!! That is the only word I can think of to describe this week. Actually that describes almost every week of my life, but anyway. This week consists of family obligations, Relay for Life obligations, work obligations, church obligations.........

Tonight I have the survivors reception for Relay for Life. Simply put this is an event for survivors to come together and bond. It's a great way for them to meet each other before the actual Relay on May 1st. My grandmother is a breast cancer survivor. She will be there tonight dressed to mingle.

Tomorrow I am heading to K-town after work to meet an old friend for lunch. We went to high school together and haven't seen each other since. It will be fun to talk about the good ole days. Ha Ha I also have a few things to pick up while I am in Knoxville. Kayla's baby shower is Saturday so I need a gift. I am thinking a diaper cake????????

Thursday night is our annual "town meeting" at work. This is where 4 of our many branches get together with the bank president and other "big wigs" to discuss our growth as a company. I am anxious to see how we did last quarter. I know we grew and made a pretty fair profit, but I just want to see how well we did. Just guessing but I think it will be around 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. before we are out that night. Shew that's a long day!

Friday night is the Press' Relay for Life fish fry. Hopefully, Tim and I will make it this year. We always try to attend this event, but every year something comes up. Roane State is also having their golf tournament on this day. We should know by that night how much they raise. Wonder if anyone will make the $100,000 hole in one this year? J.J.????

Saturday is Kayla's baby shower to welcome little Jackson. It doesn't start until 6 p.m. and I don't have to work that morning so I am guessing there will be some sleeping in late for me!!!! How exciting especially since I have to work all the Saturdays in May but one. Tim and his dad are planning a motorcycle ride to Cherokee, NC. I hope the weather is nice for their ride.

Sunday is church day!!!! Hopefully, the weather will be pretty so Tim can ride his bike, and I can take a nap! All of us girls at church are trying to organize a diaper round up for Jason and Stacy and little miss Shalynn. We didn't throw her a baby shower, so we thought that all of us could bring her a pack of diapers and wipes. I hope Glen drives the truck to church!!!!!

Shew now that I have it layed out before me it looks worse than it did in my head!
